Pn Noraini Bt Mohd Ali

The school welcomes Pn Noraini binti Mohd Ali as the third principal of SMK Seri Bintang Utara.  She takes over the helm of the school after Pn Norainun Binti Dato’ Seri Yang Rashdi retired last month. 
Pn Noraini Mohd Ali has been serving in the capacity of a school principal since 2001.  Pn Noraini had been a popular classroom teacher and counselor before turning her educational skills to administration and serving as principal for seven years. Prior to SBU, she was the principal of SMK Seri Saujana, SMK Taman Maluri and SMK Cochrane. She was an outstanding principal in all the schools she has served. 
A graduate of UKM with B.A. (hons) and Diploma in Education under her belt, Pn Noraini is very actively involved in many educational organizations.  She is the Resource Officer for Living Skills subject, lecturer for JPWP Induction Course. Curriculum officer of ZPWP (Pudu Zone), an active committee member of PKPSM (WPKL Branch) and 4PSM Kuala Lumpur.  She has attended many seminars at both national and international level.  For example she participated in “Futuristics in Education” held in 2005 in Manila. Pn Noraini is also a qualified counseling teacher with a certificate in Guidance and Counseling from Maktab Perguruan Ilmu Khas.
In her inaugural speech to the school, she reminded the students that SBU needed to achieve world class standards.  She wants the students to strive for greater heights and not be complacent with what they have achieved so far.  Pn Noraini is a firm believer of giving her best in what she does.  In line with the school vision, she believes in achieving quality in educational service.  Her favorite tagline is management by objectives (MBO) and POLC (plan, organize, lead, control). 
On the personal front, Pn Noraini is married with four grown up children and a supportive husband.    
We at SBU are fortunate to have her as our principal. We hope to achieve much success in the coming years and that we will reach greater heights together as a team!
