Students will sit in groups.
The teacher will explain about the properties of pure water as well as the types and methods of purifying substances.
Students will carry out experiments
- about the effects of impurities to the boiling point of distilled water
AND
- to separate insoluble impurities from soluble substances through the crystallization method.
Students will make use of the computer at their respective tables to key in the data.
The teacher will explain about the experiment conducted to clarify certain points.
Students will be asked to write reports about the experiments. |
